Consistent Stretching Helps Prevent Muscles Feeling Tight
Whether its from a long, hectic day or overdoing it at the gym, we’ve all had our muscles feeling tight. There’s nothing fun about having a hard time standing or reaching to grab a glass of water. The easiest way to avoid your muscles feeling tight is to start stretching at the end of each day. This can also assist with a good night of sleep.
Equipment
The great thing about these exercises is you only need a towel. You can perform the rest on your carpet.
Wind down from a stressful day or simply stretch out soreness with this relaxing series of yoga-inspired stretches. The only equipment you’ll need is a basic throw pillow (or folded blanket) during a few of the poses. This will assist your body into deeper stretches and help build a foundation of flexibility.
These gentle moves are perfect for beginners or anyone who experiences a lot of tightness during more traditional yoga poses. Try putting together each move into a flow, performing each exercise back to back with little to no rest in between movements as often as you like. Try this stretch session after a workout or on its own.
