Swiss Ball Abdominals Workout

abdominalsMost people do their abdominals workout at the end of their workouts. I prefer to do my abs on non-weight lifting days, which in my case is Tuesday and Thursday. If you go that route and you prefer to do your workouts at home, I would suggest getting yourself a Swiss ball. These are easy to store at home, reasonably cheap, and have plenty of different uses, not just for an abdominals workout. I am going to assume you have one and list different exercises. If you are out of shape, I’d suggest getting a set of light dumbbells with your Swiss ball and spend a couple of weeks waking up those sleeping muscles. Your ball will probably come with exercises; feel free to pick and choose as you please. Start off slow and don’t worry about feeling clumsy at first. Bicep Workout – Blast Your Biceps In A Short Period Of Time

bicep workoutHere’s a good bicep workout routine. If it’s a little hard to understand, don’t be afraid to highlight, then print them to take to the gym, garage or wherever else your working out. This Bicep workout is assuming you are lifting weights at an intermediate level.

Biceps – perform 3 sets of the close grip chin-up followed by 3 sets of the dumbbell single arm isometric curl and then 3 sets of the Hammer Curls to complete this Bicep workout. Rest for 60 seconds after each set. Do as many chin-ups as possible in each set and complete 10-12 reps in each set of curls. Perform this workout twice a week, resting at least 2 days between sessions.

sprint and core workoutSprinting is a great way to improve cardiovascular, agility and build a leaner tighter body. This sprint and core workout is a tough workout and should only be done if your in really good to great shape. If you’re not at this time, you can jog through this workout and build up to sprinting. This should be done 2 days a week.

Difficult Strength Workout – Great Test Of Strength

difficult strength workoutFeeling tough? Think your in great shape? This difficult strength workout will help you decide just how strong you really are. You’ve probably never tried some of these exercises which makes it even more fun. Be sure to track your results, then this difficult strength workout again in 3-4 weeks to see if you are progressing in strength. If not, your either doing the wrong workouts or not working hard enough at they gym. We have many more workouts you can take advantage of. Check this short video out here.

How to perform this difficult strength workout

For each exercise, perform three sets of 10 repetitions, resting 60 seconds between sets. Use a challenging weight that allows you to complete all reps. If you can’t complete all reps you are using too much weight, decrease. However, make sure using a weight that is challenging to complete the final rep. No slacking with light weights. It’s OK to play around with your reps and tempo. Go a little heavier in weight and drop your reps down to six, especially if you are pressed for time. Lower reps, use a slower tempo like 4-1-1. Otherwise, use a tempo of 3-1-1 or 2-1-2, whatever works for you.

Six Pack Abs Can Be Yours

six pack absSix pack abs look great. They also make your body stronger, assist in good posture, help you feel better and perform better at whatever sport you are participating. There are a couple of things you should know about getting 6 pack abs. Genetics and your diet will have the most to do with whether you can actually get six pack abs but even if you can’t, doing this circuit will still make you stronger and healthier.

Do the entire circuit with no rest between exercises. Perform 10 reps per exercise. If you have the time, rest 60 seconds and repeat 3 times. You can add dumbbells to any exercise if you’d like to increase the intensity for obtaining six pack abs.
