Drop Sets For Serious Muscle GrowthIf you’ve been following my blog you know I am a big proponent of switching up your routines. Using drop sets for serious muscle growth is a great way to switch things up. These things are crucial to do for your body to constantly be challenged. Over the years I’ve experimented with what seems like literally hundreds of high intensity training methods. Everything from supersets, giant sets, continuous tension, negatives, partials, contraction, 8 sets of 8, 6 sets of countdowns from 12 to 2, 5 sets of 5, and 21’s come right off the top of my head. I do all this not just because it’s fun to mix my workout up but more importantly so I don’t plateau. Drop sets for serious muscle growth are not easy but they work and anyone can do them. Beginner or experienced body builder, these work for all types and will be intense for anyone no matter the level.

Do Not Give Up On The Gym Without Reading This Article!

give up on the gymRemember January 1. 2016? Remember another New Year’s resolution(s) this was the year you are getting back in shape. Two and a half months later, you are ready to give up on the gym. Don’t do it! It’s not the gym’s fault and more than likely it’s not your fault either. How’s that, you ask? The problem most people have who give up on the gym is they just find it too boring. They do a great job of making the commitment, decide what time of day works best for them, get all charged up, then lose motivation and hastily give up on the gym because they decide it’s not for them. Kind of sounds like a relationship with a spouse, right? Just like your relationship with a spouse or boyfriend/girlfriend, you need to constantly add spice to your gym workouts to keep your commitment going. Are You Using A Training Program? You Should Be

training programMany people new to working out aren’t sure what a training program is or how it works. Then there are those that have been lifting weights for so long they feel they do not need a training program. I am here to tell you everyone needs a training program and why it’s so important. Don’t get me wrong, I do not think there is a perfect training program. I also feel you should change your program every 3-4 weeks to avoid boredom and most of all always be hitting your muscles in different areas. This doesn’t mean you need 15 different programs to get through a year. I use 3-4 different programs. I never do the same program more than 4 weeks. I actually have one program I use for 45 days leading up to my birthday. It’s the only time of year I use that particular program. i use the other 3 the rest of the year and normally change them every 3 weeks.

Here’s another myth buster about not having time to get in shape. This body bar workout performed 3-4 times a week will get you in shape! Of course diet and nutrition are a must but if you’ve flooded any of my blog articles you realize by now you do not have to starve yourself or give up things you love to eat. Moderation, the ticket to everything and this is a moderate workout but will work your body. Depending on your fitness level, you can start with this basic move workout and as you become stronger, increase the amount of time and sets to each exercise. I realize this will increase the time ti takes to complete the program but I do not think even the busiest person can’t afford 30 minutes a day a few days a week for fitness.
